How it works
Live on your Wix site in about fifteen minutes
No code, no developer. The app connects your Wix site to your DonorFinch organization and adds a widget to the editor.
Step 1: Install the app
In your Wix dashboard open the App Market and search for DonorFinch Donations, or use the direct link. Click Add to Site.Step 2: Connect your organization
Sign in to DonorFinch with the usual email link and choose which organization’s forms this Wix site should show. Your Wix site is added to your allowed websites automatically.Step 3: Drag the widget onto a page
In the Wix Editor click Add Elements, find DonorFinch under apps, and drop the Donation form widget into a section. Pick the form in Settings and publish.

- Does Wix have a built-in donation form for nonprofits?
- Wix has general payment and form elements, but they are not built for nonprofits: no tax receipts with your EIN, no donor records, no monthly giving with retries. The DonorFinch Donations app from the Wix App Market adds a proper donation form widget that handles all of that, with payments through your own Stripe account.
- How much does it cost to take donations on Wix with DonorFinch?
- There is no monthly fee. DonorFinch charges 1.5% per online gift, plus Stripe's processing fee (2.2% + 30¢ for registered 501(c)(3)s). Most donors choose to cover those fees at checkout. The Wix app itself is free to install.
- Do I need a Wix Business or eCommerce plan?
- No. The DonorFinch widget processes payments through Stripe, not Wix Payments, so it works on any Wix plan that allows apps from the App Market. Donations settle in your organization's own Stripe account and bank.
- Can donors give monthly from the Wix widget?
- Yes. The same form offers one-time, monthly or yearly giving. Failed cards retry automatically, donors get a secure link to update their card, and they can manage their plan in the donor portal.
- Will the form match my Wix site's design?
- You set the accent color, logo, headline and amounts in DonorFinch, and the widget sizes itself to the section you place it in. The same form also has a hosted page on DonorFinch you can link from emails and social media.
- What happens to the gifts after they come in?
- Each gift creates or updates a donor record, a numbered PDF tax receipt is emailed immediately, and each Stripe payout can post to QuickBooks Online as one deposit with fees broken out. Year-end statements are one click.
