Install on Wix

Add the DonorFinch Donations app from the Wix App Market, connect your organization, and drop the widget on a page.

DonorFinch is a free app in the Wix App Market. Installing it connects your Wix site to your DonorFinch organization and gives you a drag-in donation form widget.

1. Install the app

  1. In your Wix dashboard, open the App Market and search for DonorFinch Donations, or use the direct link: DonorFinch Donations on Wix.
  2. Click Add to Site and approve the permissions.

2. Connect your organization

After installing you'll be asked to sign in to DonorFinch (the usual email link) and to choose which organization's forms this Wix site should show. Only an Owner or Admin of the organization can do this.

Connecting also adds your Wix site to your allowed websites in DonorFinch, so the widget is permitted to show your forms.

3. Add the widget to a page

  1. Open the Wix Editor.
  2. Click Add Elements (+), find DonorFinch under apps, and drag the Donation form widget onto the page.
  3. With the widget selected, click Settings and choose which form to show. You can also pre-select an amount or frequency.
  4. Publish your Wix site.

The widget sizes itself to the form; a full-width section works best.

Under Apps → DonorFinch in your Wix dashboard you'll see which organization is connected and a link to open DonorFinch. Use Connect there if you ever need to switch organizations.

Troubleshooting

  • The widget shows "not available". The form is offline in DonorFinch. Publish it from the form builder.
  • The widget is blank in the Editor preview. Some Wix preview modes block embedded apps; check the published site.
  • Uninstalling removes the widget from your pages. Past gifts stay in DonorFinch.
