Which methods appear is controlled by your Stripe account, not per form: turn bank transfer (or Link) on or off in the Stripe dashboard under Settings → Payment methods. DonorFinch's 1.2% applies to all of them.

Card numbers never reach DonorFinch or your website; Stripe collects them directly in the donor's browser.

Why the Apple Pay / Google Pay button isn't showing

The wallet buttons appear only when all of these are true:

  1. The donor is on a device and browser with a wallet set up (Safari on iPhone/Mac for Apple Pay; Chrome signed into Google with a saved card for Google Pay).
  2. The page is served over HTTPS.
  3. The DonorFinch domain has been verified for wallets on your Stripe account. This happens automatically when you connect Stripe; Settings → Payments → Check wallet status shows Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link each as Ready / Not verified and re-runs the check.

Because the form itself is always served from DonorFinch (even when embedded on your site), only that one domain needs verifying; you don't register your own website with Apple. If Check wallet status shows Ready and the button still doesn't appear, it's item 1 or 2.

Recurring with each method

Cards, wallets and bank accounts all work for monthly and yearly plans. Bank-funded recurring charges take a few days to settle each cycle.

Methods not supported

PayPal, Venmo, crypto, and international bank debits are not available. Donors outside the US can give with an international card; Stripe may add a small cross-border fee, shown in your Stripe dashboard.

Currency

All gifts are in US dollars. Amounts: minimum $1, maximum $999,999.99 per gift.
