QuickBooks Online sync

Your books match the bank without retyping a thing

DonorFinch keeps the donor-level detail; QuickBooks Online gets exactly what your bookkeeper wants to see — one deposit for each amount that lands in the bank.

  • Each Stripe payout and each check-and-cash deposit posts to QuickBooks as a single Bank Deposit into your real bank account
  • Gifts are grouped by fund and coded to the income accounts you map them to (and to classes, if you use class tracking)
  • Stripe processing fees and DonorFinch platform fees are recorded as expenses, so the deposit total matches your bank feed to the penny
  • Posts automatically as payouts land, catches up every hour, or press “Sync now” whenever you like
  • A sync log for every deposit, with retry, skip, and “link to existing” if you already entered one by hand
  • Safe to re-run: nothing is ever duplicated, and deposits deleted or edited inside QuickBooks are noticed
  • Connect in one click as the QuickBooks admin; disconnecting never deletes anything in QuickBooks
