Small nonprofits deserve good software
Most donor tools are priced and designed for organizations with a development department. DonorFinch is built for the ones where the executive director also does the books.
The form is the fundraiser
A slow, ugly, or confusing donation form loses gifts you never know about. We obsess over the thirty seconds between “Donate” and “Thank you”.
Numbers should tie out
Receipts, statements, and deposit reports have to match the bank to the cent. If they don't, the software is making your job harder, not easier.
Your data is yours
Export everything, any time. We never sell donor data, never show ads, and never contact your donors on our own behalf.
How it's built
Boring, reliable infrastructure on purpose
We use the same proven services large companies rely on, so a small nonprofit gets enterprise-grade plumbing without paying for it.
- Payments: Stripe
- Card and bank details are collected by Stripe and never pass through DonorFinch. Your organization has its own Stripe account; we never hold funds.
- Hosting: Vercel & Neon
- The application runs on Vercel and your data lives in a Neon Postgres database in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest, with each organization isolated by row-level security.
- Email: Resend
- Receipts, thank-yous, and sign-in links are sent from donorfinch.com with proper authentication so they land in the inbox.
- Access: no passwords
- Staff and donors sign in with one-time email links. There are no passwords for anyone to lose or leak.

We read every message. You will hear back from a person, usually within one business day.
Donors: if you have a question about a gift you made to a nonprofit (a receipt, a refund, a monthly plan), please contact that organization first — they manage your gift. You can also sign in to your donor account to see receipts and manage recurring gifts.
